Rebecca Collins is a mixed media artist that works with a variety of media to create playful monsters, abstract cellular fantasies, whimsical critters and more. All of her work has a layered quality. Paper collage and glass mosaic are her two favorite mediums. She often combines paper underneath glass to achieve a very original style that people recognize right away.
Rebecca received her BFA from the University Of North Texas and has studied mosaics from contemporary leaders in the field worldwide. Rebecca teaches at the Dallas Creative Arts Center and in her home studio. She shares her life with a poet and three wild terriers.
